Jeremy Power has practiced as a construction and infrastructure lawyer for clients located in both Canada and the United States. He represents clients across all levels of the construction pyramid and in various infrastructure sectors, including in the area of renewable energy.
Known for his solutions-oriented approach, Jeremy drafts and negotiates complex construction agreements—including CCDC and bespoke contracts—and specializes in negotiating EPC and LTSA agreements that mitigate risk and drive successful project execution. Jeremy also uses his solutions-oriented approach to assist clients in dealing with construction and infrastructure disputes either through negotiation, mediation, adjudication, arbitration or litigation.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has worked with clients across every Canadian province and several American states. He served as lead counsel for a major North American renewable energy company, guiding their cross-border construction projects, international construction finance, and P3 initiatives. Clients rely on his ability to provide cost-effective outcomes and practical strategies tailored to their specific needs.
Prior to joining Pallett Valo LLP, Jeremy served as General Counsel for an AI -based construction platform putting him at the forefront of integrating AI to transform risk management and contract administration within the construction industry. Jeremy continues to draw on that innovative experience in his legal practice, helping clients realize the transformative potential of technology in construction and infrastructure projects.
A dedicated advocate for the broader construction community, Jeremy has served as General Counsel for the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association since 2020 and has represented national construction associations, such as the Saskatchewan Roofing Contractors Association, and the Manitoba Roofing Contractors Association. He is called to the bar in Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia.
